01Products

Assurance that lives where the work already lives.

Both products run natively on GitHub, inside the repositories teams already use to write, review, and ship. Verification happens at the source, on every change, with a record that holds up.

ProveLang

Semantic closure for consequential documents.

Contracts, policies, compliance filings, and technical specifications carry real obligations. ProveLang verifies that a document says exactly what it means, that its terms close on themselves, and that nothing is left open to a second reading.

ProveSW

Repository-native software assurance.

High-consequence software needs more than a passing test suite. ProveSW brings multi-layer supervisory assurance into the repository itself, so every change carries evidence of what was checked, by what, and under whose authority.

No AI action executes unless it is ordered, predicted safe, semantically valid, within bounds, and explicitly authorized.

03Architecture

Supervisory control, enforced before anything executes.

Underneath both products is one governance architecture. It enforces human supervisory control at the protocol level, across heterogeneous AI systems, integration boundaries, and regulated environments.

A

The Flight Recorder

No AI action or governance decision moves forward until it is written to a tamper-proof, write-once audit chain. Every critical process is replayable for regulators, insurers, and diligence teams.

B

The Mistake Detector

Characteristic failure patterns, including hallucination, are identified and intercepted in real time. The system restarts or halts a process before small errors become catastrophic ones.

C

Human-in-the-Loop, done right

The system monitors human oversight capacity in real time. If the approval queue grows too long, it throttles or halts risky processes before they compound.

In Moonshot, this architecture is named formally: AI Blue Box (Patent 44), the authority boundary separating what an AI can understand from what it may act on, and Capability Airlock (Patent 47), which routes work that demands exactness through independent verification before it can be certified complete.

In interconnected systems, one bad output rarely stays local. It moves downstream and it compounds.
Why verifiable control matters

04Exposure

Consequential systems need verifiable control.

01 · Hallucination cascade

One bad input can collapse an entire transaction

AI now drives valuations, portfolio analysis, and M&A strategy. A single hallucinated figure propagates through every downstream model it touches.

02 · Ghost asset liability

Hidden AI interactions create compounding exposure

When AI systems interact, they produce failure modes no single audit detects: exposure that may become difficult to insure and hard for boards to approve with confidence.

03 · Regulatory exposure

The compliance window is closing

EU AI Act Article 14 human oversight requirements take effect December 2, 2027. Organizations without a verifiable supervisory architecture face regulatory and valuation risk.

04 · Safety & operations

Machine-speed systems need a circuit breaker

Satellite constellations, autonomous aerospace, AI-managed grids, and industrial robotics act at machine speed. Without deterministic governance, a mistaken command has no human-speed brake.

05Sectors

An ever-growing number of sectors. One governance architecture.

Defense & Intelligence

Deterministic authorization for mission-critical AI

Human authorization is enforced before consequential action, where a mistaken command is not an acceptable failure mode.

Aerospace · Satellites

Collision-avoidance AI at orbital scale

A single mistaken maneuver could cascade into debris that lasts generations. Our governance keeps AI within provably safe envelopes.

Finance · M&A

Hallucinated valuations and runaway loops

AI actions stay within finite, auditable bounds, turning unbounded risk into something boards and insurers can underwrite.

Trading Platforms

Deterministic boundaries for AI-assisted trading

More than a kill switch: exactly which actions are authorized, under what conditions, before they execute.

Live Wagering

Real-time governance for sportsbooks

Every price, settlement, and payout is authorized correctly, even when markets move at machine speed.

Insurance · Liability

Ghost Assets, the liability hiding in every AI stack

Containment creates a finite, transparent risk profile that makes AI exposure insurable.

Healthcare

Missed diagnoses and drug interactions

AI assistance for clinicians, with human oversight enforced at the right moments and complete, tamper-proof records.

Robotics

The Three Laws of Robotics, finally enforceable

Asimov wrote the Three Laws in 1942. We govern autonomous physical systems operating with human or superhuman capability.

Space Energy

Governance for orbital power transfer

Early-stage research applying commit-before-execution governance to orbital power transmission. See regulator.life ↗

07The paper

Moonshot, by Zach Akins and Bruce Perens.

The paper introduces AI Blue Box and Capability Airlock, the two architectures that separate what an AI system can understand from what it may act on, and route work that demands exactness through independent verification.

It walks through three real-world failure patterns, what they cost in insurance, valuation, and M&A diligence, and a five-step path to deploying governed AI inside an existing enterprise.

Founder & CEO

Zachary Michael Akins

Founder · Inventor · Systems Architect

Zach studied chemistry and computer science before earning a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, from Creighton University: an unusual pairing of technical and financial training that shows up in how he builds, rigorous about mechanism and literal about risk.

His career spans financial services, real estate, and large-scale asset management, including a role as a senior asset manager working with the FDIC, inside the machinery built to contain institutional failure before it spreads. Systems thinking has been the consistent thread ever since, and it runs through the architecture behind Regulator AI Global's patent portfolio.
